I have a 2007 Isuzu Ascender and I love it. I've had a Trailblazer but I find the Ascender more like the GMC Envoy than the Trailblazer they keep saying. I don't have mine serviced at an Isuzu dealer I have it serviced at a GMC dealership and it's just fine. Hell everything on it is GM so why not. But for warranty based repairs it must go to Isuzu to have it covered by warranty.

Sad to say that the Isuzu brand will no longer be sold to the US. Since the new Isuzu's are based on the other GM products, would it be possible to service or maintain one at either a Chevy or GMC dealer? I thought I once heard that it was possible.

And, if it wasn't for Isuzu, GM wouldn't have drug themselves through the '70s? Doesn't anyone remember the LUV trucks or the Geo Storm?

This looks exactly like my truck. I didn't even pay $20k because it had 300 miles on it already from test drives. The 4.2L engine has been on AutoWeek's top ten for three years. The interior is more like the GMC Envoys, too. The TrailBlazer versions feel and look cheap. The Ascender doesn't. |
